Terms of service
These terms govern your access to and use of Care Circle. Please read them before creating an account or publishing provider information.
Last updated: 30 July 2026.
1. About these terms
Care Circle is operated by Kevin Baker, trading as Care Circle. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Care Circle, and “service” refers to the Care Circle website, accounts, care-home profiles, vacancy search and related tools.
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. What the service provides
Care Circle helps visitors discover care-home vacancies that participating providers have confirmed. Search results can be filtered by location, care type, placement type, funding route, fee and availability.
The service is an information and introduction tool. It does not assess an individual's care needs, recommend a provider, arrange placements, provide medical or financial advice, or guarantee that a vacancy remains available or is suitable.
Vacancy alerts begin only after email verification, check current and newly confirmed information using the selected criteria, and can be edited, paused or unsubscribed at any time. Alerts expire unless extended. Delivery may be delayed or interrupted, and an alert is not a guarantee that every suitable vacancy will be identified.
3. Vacancy information
Care providers control their profiles and vacancy records. Information can become incomplete, delayed or out of date between confirmations. Visitors must verify availability, suitability, facilities, fees, funding and contractual terms directly with the provider before making a decision.
Where regulatory information is shown, the relevant regulator's current record remains authoritative. Care Circle is independent and does not endorse a care provider merely because it appears in search results.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep it reasonably up to date and protect your sign-in credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
You must not impersonate another person or organisation, claim a care home without authority, share access to bypass permissions, or use another user's account without permission.
5. Provider responsibilities
Providers must have authority to publish information for each claimed home. They are responsible for ensuring that profile, contact, fee and vacancy information is accurate, lawful and regularly reconfirmed. Private or sensitive information about residents, prospective residents or staff must not be entered into public fields.
We may request evidence, reject a claim, suspend a listing, expire stale vacancies or correct and remove information where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service.
6. Responsible use
You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, evade technical restrictions, systematically extract or republish its database, or use it for unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory or harassing activity.
Visitors must not treat a vacancy result as a substitute for professional assessment, safeguarding checks, regulator information, a provider visit or review of placement terms.
7. Privacy and intellectual property
Our Privacy notice explains how we process personal data, and our Cookie policy explains analytics choices. The service's software, design and branding belong to us or our licensors; provider-supplied content remains the responsibility of its provider.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, security work, supplier failures and events outside our reasonable control may cause interruptions. We may improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access to address security risk, unlawful activity, inaccurate provider claims, serious or repeated breach of these terms, or harm to the service or others. You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion, subject to records we must retain for legal, security or dispute purposes.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for decisions made solely from provider-supplied information or for a provider's services, acts or omissions. Users remain responsible for their own checks and agreements with providers.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules continue to apply. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
